Haydamax Laboratory, the division of Haydamax OÜ that starts companies and tests hypotheses, has opened a new project: Mantikon, a system for big-data analysis, process control and decision-making for organizations of any scale, from a sales pipeline to a gigafactory to a station in orbit.
At the core of Mantikon is a construct the laboratory calls Digital Consciousness: a distributed, continuously operating decision architecture in which specialized models with partially independent beliefs argue a case over one versioned model of the world, under a protocol, until it settles on a decision with its reasoning, its dissent and its review date. The idea follows the human brain, where several systems speak at once and the mind is the conversation between them. The term names a functional architecture; no claim of machine experience is made.
The laboratory has published, to its partners and on request, a paper dated 11 October 2026 that sets out the theory, the formal model, the ten roles of the Cognitive Council, the Mantikon Deliberation Protocol MDP/1, eight falsifiable hypotheses and a preregistered evaluation design against single-model and ensemble baselines at matched cost. No experimental result of Mantikon's own is claimed yet; the programme is built so that a negative result changes the architecture.
The council is demonstrated on mantikon.com: three illustrative cases, a CRM pipeline, a plant in advice mode and a station in simulation, argued by the roles to a verdict with its dissent. The platform around the council, the data fabric that feeds it and the policy shield that controls what it may do, is in development. The first product will be a council for CRM and commercial operations, in recommendation and prepared-action modes only.
The laboratory is now selecting the first deployments: a small number of organizations whose decisions are worth the council's first real cases. A briefing can be requested at lab@hdm.red.
Mantikon takes its name from the Greek μαντικόν, the faculty of seeing forward.
