Help care teams manage complexity without surrendering judgment.
Hospital operations depend on beds, teams, rooms, inventory and time. Administrative decisions can affect patients and staff, so they must be understandable and governed. Mantikon's proposed Hospital Flow application is intended to compare resource-allocation scenarios while documenting constraints, evidence and operational approvals.
- Regulated trackConcept. Admission requires sector approval, a lawful basis and independent validation.
- Who decidesHospital administration, bed coordinators, operations managers
- Typical sourcesPermitted capacity, scheduling and resource data; no assumption that patient records are copied
- 01
Connect operational context
Build a current view of authorized capacity, schedules and resource constraints — without assuming every patient record should be copied into another platform.
Data minimization - 02
Explore the alternatives
Compare staffing and scheduling scenarios, record impacts on waiting time and workload, and make uncertainties visible to responsible staff.
Scenarios - 03
Keep clinical authority with clinicians
Mantikon is not presented as a diagnostic, triage or treatment decision-maker. Clinical and privacy requirements need separate validation.

A worked
example
Illustrative scenario, not a customer case.
An emergency department receives considerably more patients than planned. Mantikon detects the change in load and sets it beside staff availability, the bed fund, diagnostic equipment and the possibility of transferring patients between departments.
The operational agent states the current constraints. The workforce agent examines admissible reallocations of staff. The logistics agent checks that departments have the materials they need. The risk agent identifies which options would overload the infrastructure in an unacceptable way.
The platform produces administrative scenarios: a change to room scheduling, calling in available staff, adjusting elective procedures within medical rules, or coordinating with other institutions. Each is an organizational proposal for a responsible administrator, not a clinical instruction.
That distinction is the design, not a disclaimer: Mantikon may optimize administrative processes, but it may not determine medical necessity, overturn a clinical decision or change the priority of care without the professional oversight the law requires.
