A yield drop is a hypothesis, not a conclusion.
Semiconductor production is characterised by extremely complex process flows, costly equipment and a sensitivity of quality to small parameter deviations. Mantikon is designed to join information about lots, process routes, measurements, equipment, resources and test results into one model of the fab.

Rank the hypotheses
Some agents look for a link between defects and specific tools, others at materials and environment, others at historical lots. The critic tests alternative explanations of the same correlation.
Hypotheses - 02
Design the next measurement
The output is a programme of checks that tells engineers which measurements and experiments would be most informative, not a verdict.

Keep the tools busy
Capacity decisions use the same model: tool availability, process constraints, order deadlines, maintenance needs and operation sequence.

example
Illustrative scenario, not a customer case.
At one process stage the yield of good dies falls. Mantikon analyses the possible causes across lots, tools, materials and environment, and ranks them by how well each explains the observed pattern.
The critic checks whether the strongest correlation survives a change of time window, and whether several supporting measurements in fact come from the same instrument.
Separately, when a tool becomes unexpectedly unavailable, the platform evaluates whether lots can be redistributed across other lines without breaking the process requirements, and what that does to cycle time and to the orders at the end of the queue.

Example workflows
Yield excursion analysis · experiment prioritization · tool downtime response · capacity allocation.
Evaluation metrics
Yield · cycle time · tool utilization · time to isolate an excursion cause.
